The Story of Grid Café Oran Park’s Hidden Gem
Behind every great café is a story and ours starts with two busy dads, a shared love of good food, and a dream to bring restaurant-quality flavour to everyday life in Oran Park.
We’re not a chain. We’re not backed by big investors.
We’re two chefs who traded the chaos of fine dining kitchens for a different kind of chaos juggling kids, family life, and café mornings that start before the sun comes up.
From Fine Dining to Family Dining
Between us, we’ve spent decades working in some of Sydney’s top restaurants and event spaces. But after years in the fast lane, we wanted to build something more personal a place that brought our food, values, and families together.
That’s how Grid Café & Events was born a space where we could pour all that experience into food that feels special, but still fits into real life.

High Quality. No Fuss. Just Good Food.
Our philosophy is simple: quality food doesn’t need to be complicated it just needs to be done well.
We do your café classics bacon and egg rolls, smashed avo, good coffee but always with the skill and care of trained chefs.
And when we add our Italian twist? That’s where the flavour magic happens.
We source local where we can, cook mostly homemade, and never compromise on quality. Because we believe that’s what our community deserves.
We’re proud to be a local, independent business one that puts passion before polish.
Grid isn’t just a café; it’s a reflection of who we are: two dads trying to build something special, for our families and for yours.
So, if you’ve ever driven past and thought, “I should check that place out one day,”, this is your sign.
We’re here, tucked away but worth the find.
Come say hi, support local, and taste the difference for yourself.
